The self-matching platform

Clients who chose you, booked into your calendar.

IFA Connect’s self-matching platform lets prospective clients compare matched independent advisers and book directly with the one they choose.

How it works for the client

1

They answer structured questions

A guided set of questions covers what they want help with, the pensions and accounts they hold, the sums involved and their age. No adviser sees them at this stage.

2

They see their matches

Up to three independent advisers whose practice fits what they have just described. Nobody else in the network is shown to them.

3

They read and compare

Each match opens into a full profile: the adviser, their qualifications and specialisms, the firm behind them and its team.

4

They verify and book

They confirm their mobile number with an SMS code, then book straight into the calendar of the adviser they chose.

What lands in your diary

This is not about the volume of enquiries. It is about what an enquiry consists of, and who reaches you in the first place: your minimum asset level, advice types and exclusions decide that.

A client who chose you

They compared up to three firms side by side and picked yours. You are not chasing a form fill or competing to call back first. The client has already decided they want to speak to you, so the first conversation starts warm rather than cold.

A verified phone number

Every booking clears an SMS verification code before it completes, so the mobile number that reaches you is one the client has just proved they hold. Their email address comes with it.

Context before you speak

Their answers arrive with the booking: what they want help with, their goals, an approximate portfolio total broken down account by account, their age and their postcode. You open the call already knowing the shape of it.

A booking, or a lead to follow up

When a client books straight into your calendar, the meeting is set. When they do not, you still have their verified number and full context, so following up is quick and warm rather than a cold call.

Your profile is your shop window

Clients choose a firm first, then look closer at the advisers behind it.

Your firm’s profile is what a client compares, alongside two others. It carries:

  • Your firm name, logo and FCA details
  • What you specialise in
  • A short description of how you work
  • The advisers behind the firm, shown when a client opens your profile
  • The booking link that puts a client into your diary

You give us the facts. We write the public copy and review every profile before it goes live, so what a client reads is accurate and consistent across the network.

A clear profile with your logo and specialisms gives a client something to choose between. A thin one gives them nothing to go on.

Getting started

1

Intro call

A short conversation about your practice: the clients you want, the advice you give and how you like to work.

2

Complete your profile

You give us the facts about your firm, your qualifications, your team, your asset level and your booking link. We write the public copy and review the profile before it goes live.

3

Appear in matches

Once you are live you appear to the clients you fit, and the bookings they make land in your calendar.

Commercial terms
