IFA Connect introduces individuals and families to independent financial advisers. We are not an algorithm and we are not a directory you are left to search alone. Our team speaks to you, understands what you are trying to achieve, and introduces you to an adviser suited to it. Using IFA Connect is free and there is no obligation to proceed with anyone we introduce you to.
I spent nearly ten years in wealth management. Part of that was at a restricted firm, and they were very good at what they did. Their clients were well looked after. But there was a limit to what they were able to recommend, and a limit to who they could take on, because the account minimums ruled out plenty of people who needed advice just as much as the clients we had.
Both of those things bothered me. People kept telling me they wanted advice that was fully independent, and there was no simple way for them to find it. Others were turned away for having the wrong amount of money rather than the wrong problem.
So we set IFA Connect up to do one job properly: understand what someone actually needs, then introduce them to the adviser best placed to help. That is why we speak to every person before we match them to anyone. Finding good advice on your own usually means calling round several firms, explaining your situation from scratch each time, and hoping you can tell the difference between them. We would rather do that part for you.

Most of what we write about involves larger sums, because those are the situations where independent advice makes the biggest difference. But you do not need an estate over £1m to use IFA Connect. As a general guide, the advisers in our network can help most people with around £50,000 or more invested or to invest, including pensions.
About three minutes, so we understand what you are looking for.
Within the hour during office hours, to talk through your needs in detail.
We introduce you to a vetted independent adviser, free and without obligation.
Every introduction is made by a person, not a system. We match on what you actually need, the complexity of your situation, and the adviser best placed to handle it. If we do not have the right adviser for you, we will tell you.
Our seven step vetting process
We work exclusively with advisers who are FCA authorised and meet the highest industry standards, including a minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
We check every adviser's history, client reviews and feedback to ensure a track record of professional excellence and ethical practice.
Advisers are selected based on your specific goals, whether tax planning, pensions or investment strategy, matching the right specialism to your situation.
Advisers must act in your interest, offering honest and clear communication on all recommendations, with no hidden charges or pressure tactics.
We regularly check in and track client feedback to maintain high service quality. Vetting doesn't stop after the first introduction.
Advisers in our network are expected to be upfront about fees from the very first conversation.
Your first meeting is always free. You decide if and when to proceed, completely pressure-free and entirely at your own pace.
What we require from every adviser
Full FCA authorisation is non-negotiable. Every adviser must be registered and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, ensuring compliance with strict industry standards, ethical guidelines and consumer protection laws.
Every adviser must hold at least a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, a solid technical foundation in investments, tax planning, pensions and regulation. Many hold advanced certifications such as Chartered Financial Planner status.
Advisers must demonstrate a proven history of ethical, high-quality advice. Reviews, testimonials and client feedback all form a significant part of our assessment. We look for consistent outcomes, not just qualifications on paper.
Advisers must be able to access and advise on the whole of the market, not a limited panel, provider range or tied network. Every recommendation is genuinely unbiased, free from commission structures or corporate affiliations.
Advisers pay to be part of the IFA Connect network. You never pay us, and what we are paid makes no difference to the fees you agree with your adviser or to which adviser we introduce you to.
IFA Connect is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We do not provide financial advice. We do not recommend or endorse any financial product, platform or provider. Our role is to make the introduction. The advice relationship, and the regulatory protections that come with it, sits between you and the adviser you choose, who is authorised and regulated by the FCA.
We are a small team, which means we handle every enquiry personally and make sure you are set up with the right adviser.
